Promises of God

Sunday February 26th - Sunday March 25th

God's steadfast love has sustained God's people through the generations. During this Lenten Season we invite you to join us on Sundays as we explore together the promises given to God's people throughout the ages.

Weekly Themes:
February 26 - Saved through Water: Noah Covenant (Genesis 9:8-17)
March 4 - Ancestors of Faith: Abraham and Sarah (Genesis 17:1-17, 15-16)
March 11 - Living as God's People: 10 Commandments (Exodus 20: 1-17)
March 18 - Trusting in the Promises: People in the Wilderness (Numbers 21: 4-9)
March 25 - God's Heart in Our Heart: A New Covenant (Jeremiah 31: 31-34)

Worship Schedule

8:15 am Sundays - Traditional Worship
10:45 am Sundays - Contemporary Worship

9:30 am Sundays - Adult Education
9:30 am Sundays - Sunday School

On the third Sunday of each month, we flip the services and offer contemporary worship at 8:15, and traditional worship at 10:45.

Music Ministry at Zion

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5:19

Chancel Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the choir loft. (NOTE: during Lent, we will practice at 7:15, following the Wednesday service.) All singers are invited to join us! Childcare is provided. We sing regularly on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Sundays. We also sing for special services and holy days such as Christmas and Easter.

Bell Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the choir room. (NOTE: during Lent, we will practice at 7:15, following the Wednesday service.) New ringers are welcome to join us! We ring regularly on the 4th Sunday of the month at the 8:15 service. We also ring for special services such as Christmas Eve and Easter. Nursery

As part of Zion's continuing ministry, we offer nursery care to parents of children under the age of 5. We also have a cry room at the back of the sanctuary for parents who wish to remain with their children during worship, but who may need some privacy. Each week's schedule will be as follows:

1. Sign-in
2. Welcome Song
3. Activity
4. Playtime
5. Good bye and sign out.
