Zion has been blessed with the excellent part-time services of Pastor Duane Ferchen from Cheyenne as we have worked our way through the process of calling a new Pastor.  Now we can look forward to again having a full-time Pastor and more.

On May 4 Zion voted to call Pastors Joel & Sonya Pancoast as their new pastors and the Pancoasts accepted the call.  Pastor Joel will serve full-time and Pastor Sonya will serve half-time.  We hope to move the Pancoasts and their 2 children to Loveland in July.

Pastor Joel is currently an Associate Pastor in New Jersey.  He comes to us with the following education & experience:
     Texas Lutheran University, BA in Secondary Education & Chemistry
     Princeton Theological Seminary, M.Div.
     Lutheran Theological Seminary-Philadelphia, Master's-Sacred Theology
     1996-1998, Associate Director, Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp
     1999-2000, Youth Ministries Director, Parker CO
     Ordination 2005

Pastor Sonya is currently a solo Pastor in New Jersey.
